Present Continuos Forms

This exercise will ask you 25 present continous forms. Write them down. If there is no continuos form for a word, just write a "-".

We do not use these verbs in the present continuos:
believe (glauben), depend (abhängig sein von), forget (vergessen), hate (hassen), know (wissen), like (mögen), love (lieben), mean (meinen), need (brauchen), prefer (bevorzugen), remember (sich erinnern), understand (verstehen), want (wollen)

Building the -ing form:
- If a verb ends with -e, cancel it: make: making
- If a verb ends with -ie, replace it with y: tie. tying
- Some short verbs ending with a vowel and a consonant double the consonant: sit: sitting
